  12. : I've installed a new 28.8 MVP288IV internal fax/voice mail modem on my
  13. : WIN 95 system. With both Hyperterminal and TRUMPET I have this problem
  14. : when trying to call the Sportsters (V.34) on my office modem bank.

  26. You should be happy in fact.  In my case I have the same modem and model 
  27. and I cannot get my modem to recognize that USR answered the call.  It 
  28. always assumes(especially with Win95 Dialup) that there was no answer and 
  29. redials the USR line.  If I use a different terminal program I 
  30. occasionally get connection but not higher than 21.6 plus it works slower 
  31. than a 14.4 and usually with grabage characters and overruns.

  33. I would also be happy if someone can really give and idea on what is 
  34. happening.  Thanks a lot.
